Suomen Vammaistutkimuksen Seura järjestää torstaina 18.8. yksipäiväisen kesäkoulun, johon kutsumme vammaistutkimuksellista väitöstutkimusta tekeviä jatko-opiskelijoita. Perustutkinto-opiskelijat ovat tervetulleita osallistumaan kesäkouluun kuuntelijoina.
Teemana ovat vammaistutkimuksessa käytettävät tutkimusmenetelmät.

Invitation: Summer school on disability studies 18.8.2022
The Finnish Society for Disability Research will organize a summer school targeting PhD students. Master-level students who are interested in joining us are also more than welcome to participate in the summer school as observers.
The theme is the research methods used in disability research. The purpose of the summer school is to offer the students the precious opportunity to network, discuss on their papers and get comments on their articles or chapters of PhD thesis. We ask for texts especially in the method section. Of course, you can paste the text even further if your script is at that point. You are also welcome to take part in discussions without a text of your own.
The summer school will take place in Invalidiliitto (The Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities). We will work on the papers in small groups that compose of 2-3 senior researchers and PhD students.

Your draft papers/articles of max. 7000 words. For article thesis writers: Please include information of the title of your article, and the name of Journal that you intend to submit it for. For monograph thesis writers: Please include information of your preliminary table of contents, and information where the chapter is located in your monograph. If you need any further information about the summer school, please also write to the secretary of the Society.
